I totally dominated the track that is too tough to tame. I led the first 83 of 100 laps. Moving in and out of slower traffic and making great pit stops keeping myself out in front. On lap 84 the first caution flew which would prove to be my demise. On lap 86 after the restart I got into the back of the 88 truck of Matt Crafton as he was checking up sending me sideways and nose first into the wall, as I came back down the track I got hit in the rear by eventual race winner Todd Bodine. My #53 Def Leppard Pyromania Chevy Silverado was too torn up to get the lead back with 11 laps remaining once we went back to green. Averaging lap speeds of 155 mph, a full 6 miles an hour slower than the leaders. It was a battle to the finish just to keep my third place position holding off the #33 of Ron Hornaday Jr. and the #2 truck of Lisa Turner. A very disappointing finish to a race that I dominated, I really thought that i had tamed Darlington, but the track that is Too Tough To Tame showed me who was in charge in the end.
